Alumni in Government
The Buckeyes in the City reception brings together local government officials in and around the City of Columbus and Franklin County to be recognized for their work and to build on Ohio State’s local partnerships and impact.

The Alumni in Government luncheon recognizes and engages our alumni working in and around state and local government in Ohio. During the program, recipients of the Alumni in Government Distinguished Service Award and the How Firm Thy Friendship Award are recognized and honored for their exceptional public service to the people of Ohio.

The Scarlet and Gray Congressional Breakfast and Scholarship Fundraiser recognizes Ohio’s congressional delegation and other Ohio State alumni serving in Congress by bringing together Buckeye alumni, friends and supporters in the Washington, D.C. area while raising support for the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund.

Buckeyes on the Hill is our Washington D.C. reception that engages and builds relationships with alumni, key stakeholders, and friends working in the federal government. This event raises awareness of Ohio State’s top priorities and initiatives with key alumni in government.
